Strangely enough, Nanon (leftmost NPC), the Badge and Memory Exchange Shop attendant is also completely missing, leaving only Kameo, the Recycle Shop (or as it's translated to in the Global version, the Swap Shop) attendant as the only NPC in the area. Melanie (rightmost NPC), the NPC responsible for NetCafe functionalities is missing from the Global version of the game due to it being a Japanese-only service. As Phantasy Star Online 2 Cloud runs using a cloud-hosted game client no patch updates to the actual game are required from the player's end.Dynamic resolution scaling is not found on any other platform. The PlayStation 4 version has the ability to turn dynamic resolution scaling off or on.The PlayStation Vita and Cloud versions, however, do not support this option. The size of the game's User Interface can be adjusted on the PC and PlayStation 4 versions, namely via the game's launcher in the former and the Title Menu ("Window/Text Size Settings") in the latter.Detailed graphics and rendering settings can be adjusted on the PC and PlayStation 4 versions, but not on the Cloud or PlayStation Vita versions.The "3-Button Type" control scheme is not available on the PlayStation Vita version.The Nintendo Switch Cloud version is the only version of the game that contains Nintendo button prompts.PlayStation button prompts can be turned on in the PC version, but not on the Cloud version.Note that associating a SEGA ID with a Nintendo Account is not irreversible, unlike the same process with PlayStation Network accounts.Ĭertain music discs cannot be played on the Cloud version as a result of licensing restrictions.
